We are proud to say that we are one of the oldest family run businesses in the Dundee area. The business was established in 1920 by George McDougall in Invergowrie. The workshop was located in a small basement on Main Street. One year later the company started their first apprentice, Sandy Bowden. Sandy later became a director.

In 1927, Willie McDougall joined the firm as an apprentice who eventually ran the business until his retirement in 1970. In 1935 new workshops and office were purpose built at Carselea Road, Invergowrie. The business is still trading from those premises.

The present director is Donnie McDougall, the third generation, who joined the firm as an apprentice in 1958. Gavin Brownlie joined the firm in 1977 as an apprentice and was made a director in 1998.
